THE J.LO

Suited to: shoulder length or longer hair

The styling: Hair was blow dried and set on large velcro rollers using a volumising spray. Brush out, and starting from the nape going upwards back comb the root and mid lengths to create volume and width. Then smooth out the top section to create flatness at the top. Section out the fringe area and use a gloss spray to smooth the hair. Bring hair to one side as if to create a loose, volumised ponytail. Then roll the pony into itself to create a bun/roll. Secure in place with tiny pins. Use a pintail comb to lift out, creating more volume at the sides and back. Light spray into place. Use the wave created by the rollers in the fringe area and secure the back or leave depending on the face shape or desired finish. Finish with gloss spray.

THE CHUNG

Suited to: hair length just below the ears

The styling: Wash hair and blow dry using a mousse for root lift and texture and a medium round brush for a volumised bouncy blow dry. Then go through hair sections with a medium GHD hair straightener. Roll on the root as if to create curl and slide the iron long ways out of the hair to create a loose flick/wave on the ends. If required apply three small hair pieces and finish with a cream wax and slight teasing through the ends of the hair and back.

THE THERON

Suited to: shoulder length hair and longer

The styling: Blow dry hair and set with heated rollers. Loosen up with a large barrelled tong and backcomb through the lengths at the bottom to create width at the ends. Use serum to smooth and define at the root of the hair. If hair is fine apply three small hair pieces.

THE MCPHERSON

Suited to: shoulder length hair and longer

The styling: This look can be adapted for any hair length from shoulder length to very long. Hair is washed and rough dried or blow dried depending on hair type. Hair pieces can be applied if desired and will be colour matched. Pieces will then be attached to the hair root using a water soluble hair solution which is instantly removed with washing. Small sections are tonged and rolled into a barrel at the root, secured into place with pins, and left to cool. Once cool all the pins are removed and hair brushed with large soft brush to loosen curls and create soft bouncy feel.

THE JOHANSSON

Suited to: bob length hair and longer

The styling: Hair is washed. Apply a texturising mousse and scrunch dry the hair. Using a large barrelled tong go through the hair and define the mid lengths and ends leaving the scrunch texture at the root for a more edgy feel. The back is gathered a few inches above the nape. To give the illusion of lifting the hair, gather the sides, pull back and attached just above the lower bunch - wonderfully anti ageing. The top section is then drawn away from the face creating volume through the roots and lifting around the face Secure the back section again leaving the ends free.

THE HILTON

Suited to: any hair length from short bob and longer

The styling: Hair is washed and rough dried or blow dried. Hairdreams extensions are selected, colour matched and the length determined. Each extension is thermo plastic bonded to the hair throughout the back, mid sections and sides. Once all the extensions are applied they are cut into fine layers to blend in with the natural hair. Each section is tonged and rolled into a barrel at the root and secured into place. Hair is left to cool down. Once cool all the pins are removed with a large soft brush to loosen the curl and create a soft bouncy feel.

Styling duration time: 3.5 hours From £750 for full head of hair extensions

THE LOHAN

Suited to: bob length and longer hair

The styling: For best results clients are asked to come to the salon with one day old hair. Clients who do not have long hair can select hair pieces which will be colour matched to their own hair. Pieces will be attached to the hair root using a water solution which is instantly removed with washing. Hair is loosely curled with a large GHD. The top and one side are sectioned out for later use. The remaining hair is backcombed at the root, drawn to one side and loosely braided leaving the ends of the hair in a rough curl. The top section is backcombed at the root to enhance movement and all the hair is then drawn towards the base of the plait lifting with a comb.

THE MADONNA

Suited to: Bob length hair or shorter

The styling: Wash hair and rough dry with mousse or volume spray . Curl the hair on medium barrel tong in orange segments from the crown, pivoting so that top sections fall onto the face. Once finished shake from root with hands to loosen the curl. Bring the head forward and spray hair from the direction of the face to create lift and movement around the face. Lift the head back up to normal using your fingers at the root lift the top of the hair and spray again.
